_{"Liz! Patti!" Kid hollered as he finish the final touches to living room as the two walked in.

"What is it Kid?" Liz replied.

"Are all of the preparations completed for tonight's movie night?"

Liz smirked, looking at Kid who was dusting the table. "Don't worry about, everything is just fine. You seem to be working your butt off for this though."

"That's because I want everything to be perfect. You should know that by now."

"Yeah, yeah I know. Patti!"

The girl looked over. "Yeah sis?"

"Did you put the soda in the fridge like I told you to?"

"Umm not sure. I think so."

"Can you go double check for me please Patti?" Kid said franticly.

"Kehehehehehe! Okaaaay!" Patti giggled as she went into the kitchen.

Liz sighed and looked at Kid again. "Kid you need to chill out. Take a breath. I mean, its just a movie night with friends."

"Yes I know." Kid stood up and straightening his shirt. "But everything is ready now so I can relax." he sat down on the couch with a sigh of relief.

Shortly after everything was ready, the doorbell rang.

"…Really? Really!?"

*DINGDONGDINGDONGDINGDONG*

"C'MON KID OPEN UP!!" Black Star yelled.

"Tsk. Black Star stop being obnoxious." Maka huffed.

"And will you please stop ringing the doorbell over and over! Your giving me a headache." growled Soul.

"Oh God, they're here. And it seems Black Star has certainly brought this evening to a good start." Kid scoffed sarcastically as he walked over to the door with the sound of the doorbell still ringing in his ears.

He then opened the door to his friends and smiled. "Hello everyone. Please come inside and make your self at home."

Black Star hadn't notice the door being opened and kept pushing the doorbell.

That stopped when Kid slapped him across the face.

"Oww! What the hell man!?"

"Couldn't you tell the door was open!?"

"Uhh of course I did! I can sometimes be blinded by the own greatness."

"…You're an idiot."

"HEY!!"

Tsubaki grabbed his arm. "Stop it Black Star! I'm really sorry Kid." she said.

He chuckled a bit and smiled. "It's alright, now please all of you, welcome." He said holding the door open to his guests.

As everyone went in, Maka took Crona's hand and walked inside. "C'mon Crona, its alright, nothing to be afraid of." She smiled.

"O-ok." The girl walked in, looking around the large estate.

Soul looked though the movies Kid had on his shelf next to his TV. "Oi! Kid! What movie are we gonna watch?"

Kid walked over and examined the movies he had in his hand. "Hmm well I guess anything you guys want to watch."

A devilish smirk crossed his face as he replied, "Well then why don't we watch a scary movie?"

Kid look at him. "Well I suppos-"

"Great!" Soul dashed across him and looked at Black Star, "Yo! Black Star, we're watching a scary movie! Kid said yes."

"Alright!" Black Star shouted from the other side of the room.

Kid froze. "What the hell have I done? Ugh…I think I need to sit down." he said as he sat down on the couch. "Might as well since Soul and Black Star are all riled up.

Crona walked around nervously then tugged on Maka's sleeve. "M-Maka, what exactly are scary movies?"

"Oh they are really fun to watch and people get really scared during them, well obviously since it has the word scary in it." she giggled.

Crona shuddered. "I don't l- like that sound of that."

"Don't worry. It's not so bad. It'll be fine. Besides it's more fun with friends." Tsubaki added.

"Ok, if you guys say so." Crona said softly.

Liz then brought out an entire case of soda, ice cold from the fridge while right behind her Patti brought out a giant bowl of popcorn.

Kid was in the kitchen getting cups but once he came out all he could here was bickering.

"H-hey! Dude what the hell!?" Soul said in an angered tone. "What?" replied Black Star as he sat down next to him. "A big star like me needs room too!"

"Yeah but that doesn't mean you can push me over to the other side of the couch! It's not cool, now move over!"

"Alright you guys, cut it out!" scolded Maka. The two stopped and glared at each other. "Fiiiine."

"Tsk. Honestly, can't you too be quiet for once?" Kid commented as he rubbed his eyes.

"Sorry about that Kid." Maka sighed. "You know how those two can be sometimes."

"No no, it's alright. Thanks for your concern though." he said sitting down.

"Hey where's Crona?" Maka looked around the room then saw her sitting in a corner with her arms crossed on top of her knees. "It's ok you don't need to hide in there." she held her hand out.

"B-But I don't know how to deal with this." Crona said, burying her face in her arms.

"Everything will be alright, just relax."

"O-ok." Crona took her hand.

"Sit here Crona, its nice and comfy. I'm gonna go get a soda, do you want anything?"

"N-no thank you." she smiled at her and sat next to Kid.

Kid clapped his hands twice to get everyone's attention. "Ok is everyone ready?"

"Yeah!" shouted everyone.

"Hey Maka, can you shut the lights off please?" Soul asked.

"Sure thing." Maka turned off the light and quickly sat next to Soul.

"W-why is it so dark?" asked Crona frantically.

"That's what makes it more fun." Maka said.

"Shhh!" proclaimed Black Star "It's starting!"

*1 hour later*

Through the sudden bumps and the sound of blood splattering from the TV, everyone was at the edge of their seat, continuing to wonder what was going to happen next.

"Aww yeah! Here comes the blood!" Soul smirked.

"Ugh! The suspense is killing me." said Maka as she repositioned herself.

"I could take him, right Tsubaki?" Black Star laughed with a smug expression. Tsubaki smiled. "Yeah. You and I could beat him in no time."

Patti then looked at her older sister who was cowering on the other side of the couch. "Big sis, you could take that bad guy, right?"

Liz's eyes widened. "Wh-wh-what!? I- I don't think I could Patti b-but thanks for your encouragement." she said nervously.

Patti giggled. "No prob!"

Soul then shushed everyone to be quiet.

Meanwhile, while everyone was watching the movie, Kid was relaxed and just simply stared at the screen.

Crona, on the other hand, was terrified. "I- I don't like this!" she covered her eyes.

Maka turned around and looked at her. "It's alright Crona. It's just a movie, keep telling yourself its not real. That's what works for me when I get scared." she said turning back around.

Crona listened to her advice. "I guess I could t-try it."

Then on the TV screen, a shadow silhouetted on the wall holding an axe in one hand. The arm wielding the axe rised up and a piercing scream echoed with the sound of a splatter on the walls.

Crona screamed, then without even thinking clung to Kid.

Kid jumped a bit and looked at her while everyone was too transfixed on the screen.

Once that part was over, Crona was trembling but then realized what she had done and pulled away quickly becoming flustered saying, "I- I'm so sorry Shinigami- kun!"

He kept looking at her. "Don't worry about it, it's alright." he then turned his attention back to the TV.

Crona began thinking to herself. "You idiot! I bet he thinks I'm a freak like everyone else does!"

Kid glanced at her once again and noticed she was upset, not to mention embarrassed. He sighed then wrapped his arm around her pulling her close.

Crona's cheeks tinted red. "K-Kid?"

"I'm just being a gentlemen. You are my guests and its my duty to make sure your comfortable. And if holding on to me when your scared makes you comfortable, go right ahead. I won't mind." he said.

She smiled slightly, "T-thank you." she said quietly as she laid her head on his arm while she held on to it.

The girl continued to smile as she then wrapped her arm over Kid. He was warm and inviting. Despite her shy, timid behavior and her fear of human contact, she felt nothing. Not one fear had enticed her while she was with him. She liked this very much.

Once the movie had ended, everyone was at the door saying their goodbyes for the night.

"HAHAHAHA! Maka got scared!" Soul continued to laugh.

"Shut up! I did not!" growled Maka as she crossed her arms.

Soul smirked at her. "Don't deny it! AHAHAHAHA!"

"Makaaaaa CHOP!"

"OWW! Jeez, your violent! You didn't have to hit me!"

Black Star laughed continuously at the two of them and didn't even notice Tsubaki as she went over to Kid. "Thank you for everything this evening." she said sweetly.

"Your very welcome. It was a pleasure even though things got crazy at some points." said Kid.

Tusbaki went back with the others.

The boy then looked over at the ackward young lady with a smile. "Are you ok now?" he asked.

She nodded politely yes.

Kid turned around going back into the house "Well, I'll see you around."

"W-wait!" the girl said to him just before he closed the door completely. He came back outside.

"Hm? What's wrong Kid?" Patti asked.

"Uhh it's nothing. You two go ahead upstairs, I'll be there in a minute."

"Alright if you say so. C'mon Patti." commented Liz.

As the two girls went up stairs Kid came back outside into the cool midnight breeze staring at Crona. "Is there something you need?"

"N-no. But I…uhh…I wanted to say…t-thank you for what you did."

He smiled at her. "Your very welcome." he came closer and kissed her cheek.

Crona blushed heavily. "Kid...I…"

Kid chuckled to himself. "Just being a gentlemen."

"Crona! C'mon it's time to go home." Maka hollered.

"C-coming Maka!" replied Crona.

Before she went off with the others, Kid put his hand on her shoulder. "Have a good night."

She smiled once again. "Goodnight."

As the two became more and more distant from each other, the two endlessly gazed into each other's eyes until they could not see the eachother anymore.

And thus, the relation that was slowly weaving itself to become one, between a boy of perfection and a girl of shyness could never be untwined.}

fffffffffff i didn't mean to make it so long ;-; it couldn't be helped though >.<

I worked so hard on this one. x_x It's been a very long time since I've written anything so that also made this tiring.

But I did it!

I wanted to do something cute with these two. ^^
